One of my favourite designs is the John Dory, a local fish. This one was made for the Great Baulk Auction back in 2017 using baulk wood from the storm back in 2012. In all over 200 pieces of art were made by local and some not so local artists and over £40,000 was made for the Fisherman's Mission! Fantastic to be part of something so amazing.
Stone dolphin, engraved and carved out of Devonian mudstone, using wire to give the impression of it leaping.
Quite a challenge to do these but so rewarding when its finished, close to my heart being a Marine Biologist as well.

The Mudstone is very fine and enables me to carve quite a lot of detail, drilled in the back for hanging on a wall.
